The Mid-Coast Corridor Transit Project plans to extend the Trolley service from Santa Fe Depot in Downtown San Diego to UCSD, Westfield mall and the surrounding community. It will offer riders both local and international connectivity from south of the San Diego border all the way to University City. Scope includes development of the configuration and location for each station with respect to the existing buildings and site conditions and incorporation of all features required by SANDAG’s LRT criteria.

RAW is tasked to design three aerial stations at UTC, Executive and Nobel Drive. All three stations consist of two platforms, vertical circulation elements and pedestrian bridges. The UTC station connects the west side of Genesee Avenue to the transit center at Westfield's UTC mall development. on the east side of the street. The Executive station is nestled in between large commercial office developments. The Nobel station is situated on the easement of the I-5 freeway and adjacent retail development.
