The development of the design for this unique courtroom presented several challenges for RAW. The initial challenge was the location of the courtroom, which was confined by the existing structural columns, creating potential sightline limitations. Sightlines were maximized by creating a “courtroom in the round” configuration, which also enhanced the spatial perception of the confined courtroom.
